Sustainable Community Development

At YMCA Derbyshire, our vision is for every young person to develop to their full potential and for local communities and individuals to achieve. Empowering and supporting the community is, therefore, an important aspect of our work. We engage with the community and undertake initiatives aimed at supporting individuals and communities to achieve their potential.

Various projects and services provided by YMCA Derbyshire fall under this banner, including the North Derbyshire Furniture Project (supported by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust) and the Tenancy Sustainment Service (covering Chesterfield, Bolsover, North East Derbyshire, Amber Valley and Erewash).
