The North Derbyshire Furniture Project based in Chesterfield provides good quality, low cost furniture and electrical items to families and individuals on benefits or low incomes. We receive and collect donated furniture and operate a showroom open to members of the public five days a week. We also deliver furniture throughout the local area and work with volunteers and those on work placements to ensure that demand is catered for.

We provide and accept donations of the following items, among other things:

  Single and double beds                                       Small electrical items

  Wardrobes                                                               Three-piece suites

  Chests of drawers                                                  Dining furniture

  Fridges and freezers                                             Books

  CDs and DVDs                                                        Bric-à-brac

Please note that at times of high stock levels we may not be able to accept donations of certain items.
