A number of local groups and organisations are making regular room bookings at The Campus to take advantage of our state-of-theart facilities and friendly service.

One recent customer was the Shaw Trust, a charity which supports disabled and disadvantaged people to prepare for work, find jobs and live more independently.

Speaking after one of their sessions, Laura Clare and Janice Collier from the charity explained that there were a number of reasons for using the Campus as their local base for job clubs, training and one-to-one support. The on site parking, excellent access for people with disabilities, competitive price, location and informal atmosphere were among the factors they cited for their regular booking, as well as the Campus Café which they praised for its quality of service.

Janice said, “I hadn’t realised quite how comfortable the Campus would be, and we’ve had no negative responses from any of our customers.I would recommend it because of the friendly atmosphere and the fact that everyone is helpful and polite. Our customers feel relaxed here straight away.”

Laura said that she was always impressed by how clean and tidy the building was, adding, “I would definitely recommend The Campus
because it’s clean and modern with excellent facilities.”

Jo Glassbrook, from Derbyshire County Council's Children and Younger Adults Department, was another recent customer and had this to say afterwards, "Just a note about last week's course ..., the trainer has come to me to say that she found the venue excellent; she said it was easy to find, there was plenty of parking and the staff were very helpful and efficient... Please pass on my thanks to all concerned."
