We provide supported housing for vulnerable and homeless people, learning and development programmes in five centres across Derbyshire, various programmes for children in and out of school and other projects aimed at achieving sustainable community development. Founded in 1847, we are a part of the worldwide YMCA movement, which is now active in over 120 countries with 30 million members. Join us for the fantastic February Half-Term Y-Play!
Y-Play, from YMCA Derbyshire, is Ofsted-registered and offers a diverse range of activities for children in Years 1 to Year 7. We provide comprehensive childcare from 8am to 6pm during school holidays – including the upcoming February half-term holiday from 15th to 19th February 2010. We are now taking bookings for this February half-term Y-Play Playscheme at Silverhill Primary School in Mickleover. Activities will include a pancake flipping race, a daytrip to Sudbury Hall Museum of Childhood, a project to make a pop video, team games, sports, arts and crafts, and a quiz.
